Rev. Cathie Young, President

Cathie Young is a retired minister. Her breast cancer was diagnosed at an advanced stage in 2011. Rev. Cathie's treatment included a double mastectomy, 6 months of chemo, 6 weeks of daily radiation, multiple surgeries and 10 years taking hormone blockers. God's prompting during her treatment led her to think about those with cancer who are alone or isolated and in response she has dedicated her life to supporting and encouraging cancer patients. Through virtual and in-person support groups, Cancer with Compassion provides support to cancer patients across the nation. Anyone, anywhere can be a part of this great outreach.  Counseling and prayer are also available on a one-to-one basis.

If you would like a free copy of her memoir, "Gold in the Road: Through the Cancer Storm with Jesus Christ," email her at cancerwithcompassion@gmail.com.  Include your name and mailing address.  Rev. Cathie and her husband Philip live in Bend, Oregon.
